Idaho Steel and Kiremko Create & Deliver the Largest Drum Dryers in the World
Incorporating cutting edge technology and manufacturing ingenuity, Idaho Steel and Kiremko are excited to announce the production of the largest drum dryers ever available on the market. This newest piece of unique potato manufacturing equipment is part of a complete potato production line consisting of sorting, peeling, cutting, blanching, cooling, and cooking equipment produced by Idaho Steel and Kiremko. Several of these oversized drum dryers have been built for international customers and will be installed over the next few months.
Larger capacity drum dryers allow higher quantities of pureed or paste-like potato products to be dried and subsequently milled to a flake or powder then converted to commercial food, allowing Idaho Steel and Kiremko customers to produce more quality potatoes at a faster speed.
“These projects demonstrate the high level of interest in our latest design of the drum dryer and that Idaho Steel and Kiremko deliver state-of-the-art turnkey solutions for the potato processing industry for our customers all over the world,” says Davis Christensen, Director at Idaho Steel. For over 23 years, the strength of Idaho Steel and Kiremko’s partnership has resulted in innovative products for their shared customers. “These drums are an excellent example of the strength of our partnership with Idaho Steel. Together we make unique projects like this. Our combined knowhow and engineering power guide us to leading technology,” says Andy Gowing, director at Kiremko.
